Walker Matriarch Passes

We are sad to report that Margaret Walker, a founder of Walker Manufacturing in partnership with her husband Max, passed away on May 15 at 92 years of age.

Margaret was an instrumental part of the creation and development of the company starting in the late ’50’s in Fowler, Kansas. She was a secretary, bookkeeper, and faithful homemaker. She is remembered as a steady and strong lady of dignity and style. She will also be remembered as often quoting her favorite Scripture verse, I Thessalonians 5:18: “In every thing give thanks. . . “ and she would add, “not FOR all things, but IN all things”.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Max of 68 years.
